Today’s libraries are a lot more than just books. We offer free access to Wi-Fi, internet, computers, online resources and daily newspapers. Our library has resources and opportunities for anyone living, working or studying both locally and across the State.
The Library service is funded in a partnership between your Council and the South Australian State Government and is a member of the One Card Statewide Consortium

Common Threads - A Murder Mystery film released 10th September 2023

A Library project in conjunction with Yankalilla Youth Theatre and community members. This project was made possible by the Libraries Board Innovation Fund, 2022/23, supporting the Library’s mission to encourage connection in our local community, represent our district’s diverse history, culture and talent as well as broadening the library’s digital outreach and showcasing the new library’s facilities and services.
We thank the grant funders and project supporters who made the project possible: The Libraries Board Innovation Fund, Public Library and Corporate Services, The State Library of South Australia, District Council of Yankalilla, The Yankalilla Youth Theatre, Yankalilla Library staff and volunteers, and, importantly, the Yankalilla community members who took time to contribute and be involved.
