The Strategic Planning and Development Policy Committee was disbanded at the call of the 2022 General Election.
This committee was previously required pursuant to Section 101A of the Development Act 1993.
The Development Act 1993 was superseded by the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 and as such, the new act does not have a requirement for an equivalent committee.
Matters that may have previously been considered by this committee can be heard by Council at an Ordinary Council Meeting.
