Freedom of Information

Due to the current unprecedented events in managing and responding to the COVID-19 outbreak in South Australia, the ability to meet the timeframes prescribed under the Freedom of Information Act 1991 (FOI Act) for making FOI determinations may in some instances be difficult. if you have any queries please email Council at council@yankalilla.sa.gov.au and your query will be answered by the Accredited Freedom of Information Management Officer.

The Freedom of Information Act (SA) 1991, provides legal avenues for access to information and for changing incorrect information.

There is a formal process for seeking information under the Freedom of Information Act (SA) 1991.

Enquiries should be addressed to Council's Freedom of Information (FOI) Officer, applications can be made to Council by completing the 'FOI Application Form - Request for Access' contained in the link below.

Please note that the District Council of Yankalilla do not accept online applications. Applications must be received in writing with the appropriate form and fees / charges (if applicable).
