Fleurieu AG FEST is back for 2024!

Fleurieu AG FEST returns to the Yankalilla Showgrounds on Monday 18 March to showcase:
- Innovation: explore the ideas and technology being used in agriculture, other primary production, conservation and land management.
- Diverse Career Pathways: discover the abundance of diverse career pathways in agriculture and related industries.
- Inspiration and Connections: provide inspiration to students and build valuable connections for careers, work experience, research projects and subject choices.
- Local Produce: a showcase of local and regional produce – including offerings from food and drink vendors on site.
Displays and food and drink vendors will be open to the public from 9.30am until 5pm. Everyone is Welcome!
Entry is FREE all day!
There is a fantastic program of speakers, panels, workshops and activities for school groups from 10am to 3pm plus speakers and workshops for the general public and primary producers in the afternoon (see below for the Program.
We are very excited to welcome our keynote speaker, Matthew Evans “The Gourmet Farmer”.
Not only is Matthew a Gourmet Farmer, cook and broadcaster. He has recently released a book called “Soil”. Matthew is an excellent advocate for the importance of soil health and the perfect speaker for the theme “paddock to plate to gut” – taking “paddock to plate” one step further!

There will be links to and information about the 2024 Student Compendium, a comprehensive guide to many of the opportunities available in agriculture, including scholarships and internships. This is an initiative of the Agricultural Institute of Australia (SA) and the Adelaide University Agricultural Students’ Association, who will have a display at AG FEST.
Join us for a day filled with displays, workshops, food and drink vendors, starting from 9:30am until 5pm. The speakers and workshops kick off at 1pm.
