Council Meetings

Council currently meets once a month on the third Tuesday of the month, commencing at 4.00pm. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at the District Council of Yankalilla, 1 Charles Street, Yankalilla.

Public Attendance

Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or watch the meetings online via Microsoft Teams. MS Teams Meeting Links are shown on the individual Agenda.  For assistance in accessing the livestream: https://bit.ly/Streaming-Support

If you are attending the meeting in person, please enter the building by using the main entrance.

In some instances, it is necessary to close the meeting to the public to discuss items in Confidence. You can read more about the Confidentiality Provisions and view the Confidentiality Registers here.

Deputations

The opportunity is available at the Council meetings for members of the public to appear as a deputation at the meeting. This is utilised by interested persons who wish to speak on a matter contained within the agenda or to provide information to Council on other topics.

Meeting Recordings

Since July 2026, video recordings of Ordinary and Special Council meetings have been available online for 90 days following each meeting.

Recordings are typically published in the week after the meeting and can be viewed on the Council Meeting Recordings page.
