The initial roll out of rural property addressing (numbering) has been completed within the district.
New property addresses are assigned to properties where development creates new "dwellings" in the rural areas.
Included with development applications, the proposed driveway location onto the public road is to be indicated. The rural address is determined from the driveway location.
Owners will be supplied with the address details together with information on how to obtain a sign. Rural Property signs installed are the responsibility of the property owner, this includes the replacement of signs that are stolen and/or damaged.
