Yankalilla & Districts Inter-Church Council
Representatives from the Anglican, Uniting, Lutheran, Australian Christian and Catholic churches meet every two months to discuss ecumenical events and support the Pastoral Care Worker Program. They are also responsible for the oversight of the 5CY Community Pantry. The Ecumenical Events Committee organises and runs fundraising events to supplement donations from the five denominations associated with the YDICC. All funds raised go toward events such as the Annual Christmas Carol evening at Yankalilla and the New Year’s Eve parade in Normanville, and support of the Pastoral Care Workers in our local schools.
