Adult and Family Events

Yankalilla Library holds events for adults and families throughout the year, such as:

  • Book launches
  • Author talks
  • Special interests talks
  • Special events
  • Local history presentations
  • Technology programs or one-on-one help

Children and Youth Events

We hold a range of children and youth events such as our regular Storytime program during school terms, as well as school holiday events, STEM programs, and other special events.

Mayors Short Story Square

The Mayors Short Story Challenge has been a yearly event since 2010. It is held in conjunction with Alexandrina Council and the City of Victor Harbor. The Mayors Short Story Challenge is a creative writing challenge for school children from reception to year 10.
