Adult and Family Events
Yankalilla Library holds events for adults and families throughout the year, such as:
- Book launches
- Author talks
- Special interests talks
- Special events
- Local history presentations
- Technology programs or one-on-one help
Children and Youth Events
We hold a range of children and youth events such as our regular Pre-school programs Yankalilla Library Baby Sprouts and Sprouts Thursdays starting from 10am, during school terms, as well as school holiday events, STEM programs, and other special events.

Yankalilla Library Sprouts is held at Rapid Bay Primary School, Fridays 9.30 to 10.30am during school terms, bookings are essential, phone Rapid Bay Primary School on 08 8598 4062.
The Mayors' Short Story Challenge is a creative writing challenge for school children from reception to year 10, it is held in partnership with Alexandrina Council and the City of Victor Harbor.
