Lost Dogs and Domestic Cats

The District Council of Yankalilla is always keen to reunite any lost dogs/cats with their owners as quickly as possible.  When we receive (or collect) a stray animal we always check to see if the animal is registered or has a microchip with up-to-date owner information.

Whenever possible, we upload details and photos on our Facebook account and website in the hope that social media will assist us.

Unfortunately, there are times we are unable to reunite and in these cases we take the animal to Lonsdale RSPCA animal shelter for holding.

If you need to contact the shelter telephone 8382 0888 Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm. Weekends and public holidays 10am - 2pm.

For any queries, please contact our friendly Customer Service Team on 8558 0200 Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
