What does the future of the Hills and Fleurieu look like?

How do we protect the water that supports our communities and agriculture? Recover native species? Reduce the impact of pest animals? Support productive farms while preparing for a changing climate?

These are some of the questions explored in the newly launched Hills and Fleurieu Regional Landscape Plan 2026–2031.

The plan sets out the priorities, targets and actions that will help care for the region's land, water and nature over the next five years.

Developed by the Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board with input from communities, stakeholders and partners across the region, the plan recognises that lasting progress depends on people working together. Landholders, First Nations, volunteers, industry, councils, community groups and government all have a role to play.
