Illegal dumping and littering
Council has observed an increase in illegal dumping across the district, with household and commercial waste being left on roadsides, near waterways and in public areas.
Illegal dumping harms the environment and the amenity of our region. The cost of removing and disposing of dumped waste is ultimately borne by the community.
Report illegal dumping
If you witness illegal dumping, please report it to Council with as much information as possible, including descriptions of people and vehicles involved. If it is safe to do so, photographs can also help.

Dispose of waste responsibly
Fleurieu Regional Waste Authority (FRWA) has a collection site at 2864 Inman Valley Road, Yankalilla. For more information, contact FRWA on 8558 2467 or email admin@frwa.com.au.
