Temporary Closure: Rapid Bay Jetty 3–4 September
DIT are currently undertaking maintenance works on the new Rapid Bay Jetty to improve its structural integrity and lifespan.
What’s Happening
DIT are undertaking maintenance works, including key structural remediation works, to ensure the new Rapid Bay jetty is safe and accessible for years to come.
How This Affects You
The Jetty will remain open and accessible to all users as much as safely possibly, however some intermittent daytime closures will be required.
Closures will be communicated through onsite signage at least 48 hours prior.
Full access will be maintained on weekends and during events.
Please note: The jetty will be closed to all users Wednesday, 3 September 2025 and Thursday, 4 September 2025, so new ladders can be installed safely on the jetty.
