Have Your Say on the Future of Public Transport

Improving public transport in regional areas like the District Council of Yankalilla is a priority for many in our community. The South Australian Government is now developing a long-term Public Transport Strategy and undertaking a Regional Public Transport Review and your voice is essential.

This is your opportunity to help shape a future transport network that meets the unique needs of our district and strengthens connections across the state.

About the Strategy and Review

The Public Transport Strategy will set the direction for public transport in South Australia over the next 30 years. It aims to deliver a reliable, accessible and sustainable network that supports social, economic and environmental outcomes.

At the same time, the Regional Public Transport Review is taking a deeper look at how public transport serves regional communities. For areas like our district, this review is a crucial step in identifying service gaps, improving connectivity and ensuring access to essential services, education and employment.
