Agreement Signed for Community-Led Dog Park at Bungala Reserve

The District Council of Yankalilla is pleased to announce a significant milestone for the community with the signing of an agreement to deliver a new dog park at Bungala Reserve, Normanville.

Under this agreement, the Friends of Normanville/Yankalilla Dog Park Committee will lead and fund the construction of the facility, with works scheduled to commence in December and continue through January and February. Once completed, Council will assume responsibility for long-term maintenance and asset management, ensuring the dog park remains a safe, accessible, and well-maintained space for residents and visitors.

This agreement provides the Committee with the formal backing needed to secure additional funding and begin construction. The new dog park will create a dedicated space for dogs to exercise and socialise, while fostering community connection and promoting responsible pet ownership.

Council commends the Committee for its commitment, hard work, and fundraising efforts, and looks forward to seeing this exciting project progress over the coming months.
