Vale Bill Verwey
The District Council of Yankalilla is saddened by the passing of former Elected Member Bill Verwey on 11 December 2024.
Bill stepped down from his role as an Elected Member in March this year to focus on his health and it is with great sadness that we acknowledge his passing.
Throughout his four years of service on Council, Bill was a dedicated advocate for our community. His passion and community spirit shone through in everything he did, including his contributions to multiple Council committees.
We extend our deepest condolences to Bill’s family and friends during this difficult time.
