Normanville Pontoon Update: Repair and Recovery Progress

We've heard your questions about the missing pontoon at Normanville Beach and we want to keep you informed about what's happening.

Right now, the pontoon is undergoing some much-needed repairs to make sure it's in good shape. We're working hard to get it back on the water as soon as possible.

Current Challenges:

1. Ladder Replacement:

The damaged ladder has been replaced, ensuring easy access to and from the pontoon.

2. Buoyancy Tune-up:

Minor repairs are in progress to ensure the pontoon sits level in the water. Our repair crew is working on it now.

3. Anchor Point Challenge:

Here's the tricky part – two of the four anchor points are missing. We're bringing in expert divers and underwater excavation teams to find and secure them. We think the chains might be buried under the sand.

Reasons for Delay:

We're doing our best to get everything fixed, but the usual closures around Christmas and New Year are causing a bit of a delay. We're working hard to speed things up!

What's Next:

Once all the repairs and underwater work are done, we'll bring the pontoon back to Normanville Foreshore as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We'll keep you updated on any new developments. We can't wait to see you back on the water soon!
