Have Your Say: Representation Review & Proposed Name Change to 'Fleurieu Coast Council'
Every eight years Council is required by law to undertake a Representation Review to ensure it represents the community effectively. This process includes:
- Reviewing the composition of the Council.
- Considering changes to ward boundaries or abolishing wards altogether.
- Exploring potential changes to the Council's name or ward names.
As part of this review, we are inviting the community to consider changing the name of our Council to Fleurieu Coast Council. This name aligns with our established place brand to best represent our district today and into the future.
This is a significant decision for our community and we want to hear from you!
