Fleurieu AG FEST is Back!

Fleurieu AG FEST is returning on Monday 18 March at the Yankalilla Showgrounds to:

*showcase the ideas and technology being used in agriculture, other primary production, conservation and land management

*promote the abundance of diverse career pathways in ag and related industries

*provide inspiration to students and build connections for careers, work experience, research projects and subject choices

*showcase local and regional produce - including from food vendors on site

At the inaugural Fleurieu AG FEST in 2023, attendance included about 260 students and 25 teachers from eight schools across the region from Murray Bridge to Aldinga to Kangaroo Island – in addition to many primary producers and members of the community across our region. There were 44 exhibitors plus seven food and drink vendors.

100% of evaluation survey respondents wanted to see AG FEST run again. A number of improvements are planned, based on the strong positive and constructive feedback from the first AG FEST. This should enable the program to be even better tailored for the school groups attending, as well as providing plenty of interest for primary producers and the general public.

We are seeking exhibitor registrations and sponsorship commitments by the end of January.

Exhibitors can register online at www.trybooking.com/CNVDN

Sponsor and exhibitor enquiries can be emailed to business@yankalilla.sa.gov.au

The deadline for school group registrations is 16 February.

School group and student enquiries should be directed to amywilliams@yankalilla.sa.gov.au

Key target audiences include: primary producers; students; parents/caregivers; teachers; jobseekers; and the local community.

Everyone is welcome! Come along and check it out.

The venue will be open to the public from 9.30am until 5pm with speakers, panels, workshops and displays throughout the day.
