Consultation Now Open
The District Council of Yankalilla invites the community to comment on updates to By-Law No. 5: Dogs and By-Law No. 7: Cats as part of its Legislated By-Law Review.

Under the Local Government Act 1999, Council is required to review its By-Laws every seven years and make any necessary updates. Council has eight By-Laws, six of which went through the review process in late 2023.
The remaining two By-Laws - No. 5: Dogs and No. 7: Cats - were reviewed and referred to the Dog and Cat Management Board for comment in late 2023 and both are now open for comment from the community.
