Australia Day Celebrations Return to Normanville
The District Council of Yankalilla is delighted to announce the return of its annual Australia Day Celebrations to the picturesque Village Green in Normanville!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, 26 January 2025, and join us from 9 am for a morning filled with community spirit, entertainment and celebration.
Be inspired by the words of our Australia Day Ambassador, Mr John Shepherd AM and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the district’s Citizen of the Year Award winners.
We’ll also welcome three new citizens during a Citizenship Ceremony and congratulate the recipients of our Community Grant Program, who will be presented with their certificates.
Finally, the morning will conclude with live music by the talented Corey Stewart and Wendy McPhee. Enjoy a traditional Yankalilla Lions Club sausage sizzle (don’t forget to bring along a gold coin donation!), alongside face painting for the little ones and giant lawn games that the whole family can enjoy.
