Night at the Museum
Bean bags, popcorn, and perfect weather made for a delightful evening outdoors for over 80 people who attended the Night at the Museum event on Monday, 24th of April, at the Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre. The event was featured in the Festival Fleurieu program from the 21st to the 30th of April and was coordinated by the staff from Council and volunteers.
The highlight of the night was the screening of the Ben Stiller movie, Night At The Museum, on the big OPTUS screen. The movie was enjoyed by everyone, young and old, and the free popcorn was the perfect snack to accompany the movie.
In addition to the movie screening, free entry to the museum was also available and approximately 50 people took the opportunity to view the museum and exhibits during the event. It was an excellent chance for families to spend some quality time together and learn more about the local history.
The success of the Night at the Museum event would not have been possible without the help of OPTUS, Festival Fleurieu, The Museum, Barking Bean, and Little Turk. We are grateful for their support and contribution to the event.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the many families who came along to support the event. It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying themselves and spending time together as a community.
The Night at the Museum event was a resounding success. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the event and we look forward to seeing you all at the next community event.
