MYPONGA: Top 11 Ag Town of the Year

It is a great honour to announce that Myponga has been recognised as one of the Top 11 contenders for the prestigious South Australian Agricultural Town of the Year award. This achievement reflects the exceptional spirit and unity within our small yet remarkable community.

Myponga boasts a rich agricultural heritage, playing a pivotal role in the flourishing South Australian dairy industry for many years. Today, that tradition lives on through remarkable enterprises like Fleurieu Milk and Buff Love, which continue to contribute to our town's prosperity.

Moreover, our region has witnessed a delightful diversification in recent times, with the emergence of exceptional businesses such as Lovely Valley Truffles, Fleurieu Cherries, Smiling Samoyed, Fleurieu Gin, Myponga Kayak Hire, and Lessismore Farm. These ventures beautifully showcase the immense potential and diversity of our area.

We look forward to the next stage of the award process.
