Happy National Volunteer Week!
Today marks the start of this special week dedicated to recognising the selfless efforts of volunteers across Australia and we would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge Council’s amazing volunteers who support four important services in our community: the Yankalilla Council Transport Team, the Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre, the Library and the Community Nursery.
These programs could not run without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and it cannot be understated how much the Council and the community appreciate all that they do. Your tireless efforts and commitment to making a positive impact in our community have not gone unnoticed.
We would also like to recognise and thank all the volunteers across the wider community, not just those who volunteer for Council. Volunteers play a critical role in the success of small towns, providing essential services and supporting local initiatives that make our communities stronger, healthier and more connected.
To all the volunteers out there, thank you for your incredible contributions to our community. You truly make a difference and we are grateful for everything that you do. Happy National Volunteer Week!
