Draft 2023-24 Annual Business Plan Update
Following the conclusion of the public consultation period on the draft 2023-24 Annual Business Plan & Budget, we want to express our gratitude to all who took the time to share their valuable insights.
Our staff have diligently collected and compiled the feedback received from the community and we have passed it on to the Elected Members.
Many of you have emphasised the importance of returning to basics, showing support for the proposed operating projects and highlighting the need for debt reduction. We have also taken note of your desire for a reduced rate increase and a request to review the cost of delivering services.
Today, at the Elected Member Forum, our Councillors will engage in discussions surrounding your feedback. They will carefully consider if any adjustments can be made to enhance the Annual Business Plan & Budget.
So, what's next? Our administration team will incorporate the outcomes from today's Elected Member's Forum into the draft 2023-24 Annual Business Plan & Budget. We will report any changes made to the draft 2023-24 Annual Business Plan & Budget in the final document.
The final 2023-24 Annual Business Plan & Budget will be presented to Council for endorsement at a Special Council Meeting on 27 June 2023.
