Community Meeting - Escape the Vape

Vaping has gained a lot of traction in our community particularly amongst our young people where it is becoming problematic.

In an effort to work collaboratively towards promoting positive behaviours and supporting the issues arising as a by-product of this new trend, we are inviting anyone interested to join us in a community meeting which will be facilitated by Kerrie Sellen who has more than 30 years as a practitioner in the areas of youth, drugs and alcohol.

This meeting was initiated by Christine Bell, principal of the Yankalilla Area School and is being supported by the District Council of Yankalilla, the LDAT team (Local Drug Action Team) which includes local sporting groups, and community leaders and organisations such as SAPOL and businesses who may have staff feeling the effects.

Please come along, and spread the word to help promote the event, to have as many of aspects of our amazing community working collaboratively and cooperatively together to achieve positive outcomes.

When: 6pm - 7pm, Wednesday 21 June 2023

Where: Yankalilla Football Clubrooms

Who: Anyone who lives or works in the region and is interested in supporting more positive trends in our young people.
