Community Grants Are Now Open!
Community groups and not-for-profit organisations are invited to make their project a reality through Council’s Community Grants program. Community Grants support projects that build people’s skills, connections and wellbeing and increase participation in social and leisure activities.
Mayor Darryl Houston said that community groups were the lifeblood of the region and that grant money made it possible for many new events and activities to happen. “We’re home to so many different groups and people who do great things for our community,” he said. “I hope to see a wide range of applications from all over the District that support community-led projects.”
The 2023/24 grant program opens 31 July and closes Monday 25 September. Eligibility criteria apply.
We encourage you to contact the officer listed in the guidelines to discuss your project before starting your application. Visit the Council website for application forms and more information or phone Council on 8558 0200.
