Library Naming Results
With thanks to the community, we received almost 40 Name Idea submissions via YourSay Yankalilla for the New Combined Building of ‘the centre’ and ‘Library’ as well as numerous ideas left on the ideas board at the Library during the consultation period.
After careful consideration of all the submissions & votes, Council at their April Meeting resolved to name the new Combined Building – ‘Yankalilla Cultural Centre and Library’.
Council would like to thank the community for their suggestions and support of this project and with works already commenced, look forward to seeing the new building become a reality in the near future.
