Jetty Caravan Park Normanville Southside Annual Caravan Site Licences
In the past couple of weeks, we have been approached by Annual Caravan Site Licence holders in the Southside of the Jetty Caravan Park Normanville to confirm the Council's position on the use of the Annual Caravan Sites. The following confirms the feedback given:
The Annual Caravan Site Licences has always been issued one year at a time and that is the only guarantee that Council can provide for continuing to be permitted to stay onsite (one year).
Although it is ultimately a Council decision, it is expected that should Council determine to no longer continue with issuing Annual Caravan Site Licences, it is highly likely that two years notice would be provided, as was done on the Northside of the Caravan Park.
Council always reminds potential purchases when Annual Caravan Site Licences are being sold that what they are purchasing is only the infrastructure on the site (for example the van), the actual site that the infrastructure sits on is not for sale. An Annual Caravan Site Licence is granted by the Council to the Licence Holder to occupy the site for one year at a time. The Annual Caravan Site Licence clearly sets out all the conditions of the Licence. You can view an example of the Jetty Caravan Park Annual Caravan Site Licence here.
All decisions on the future of the Annual Caravan Site Licences will be made by Elected Members at a full Council meeting, this includes the length of time that an Annual Caravan Site Licence will continue to be offered.
