We’ve got a plan for the year ahead, are we on the right track?

We’re connecting with the community about our plan for the year ahead.

Our draft Annual Business Plan and Budget is our plan for the financial year ahead. It outlines what services and projects we plan to spend money on in the next 12-months. The Annual Business Plan aims to keep us working towards meeting the 12 community priorities in our Strategic Plan.

We want to check that you, our ratepayers and residents, are happy that what we’ve got planned is still on the right track towards delivering the priorities you identified as important back in 2020.

Community Land Management Plan for 55A Seaview Avenue Wirrina

Consultation open 10 May 2022 to 21 June 2022

Council has received a request from The Backyard Universe to assist with securing them a suitable site to use as a permanent base for their ‘multicultural stargazing and astronomy experiences’.

Council is seeking feedback from the community on the new proposed Community Land Management Plan for 55A Seaview Avenue Wirrina Cove to provide for general leasing and licensing powers to provide passive recreation activities.

The primary purpose of the proposed Management Plan is to meet the requirements of the SA Water Community Wastewater Management System and provision of a potable water supply to properties located within the Wirrina Township. The secondary purpose is open space suitable for passive recreation activities.

Council staff will be on site at 55A Seaview Avenue on Thursday 9th June, 5-6pm for interested persons to come along and ask questions. Find out more at yoursayyankalilla.com.au
