Having difficulty paying your council rates?
If you have (or are likely to have) difficulty in paying your rates, please contact Council’s Rates Officer on 8558 0200, before your rates fall into arrears, to discuss options that may be able to assist you.
Payment arrangements and due date extensions can be negotiated with ratepayers who may be experiencing financial difficulties or need to set up weekly/fortnightly/monthly payments. Persons experiencing genuine ongoing financial hardship may seek assistance from Council where hardship can be substantiated by Certified Financial Counsellors.
These enquiries are treated confidentially.
