Bike Repair Station is Wheely Good
A new community Bike Repair Station has been installed at the Yankalilla Lions Youth Park.
A tyre pump, stand to prop your bike on and all the tools you’ll need to make rolling repairs are included.
The installation was made possible through a small Council Contribution and the Youth-Led Recovery Grant.
Young people have been identified as one of the cohorts most affected by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic’s short and long term effects. The Youth-Led Recovery Grants give them the chance to be leaders in the recovery effort by strengthening resilience for themselves and their local communities.
This project received funding from the Department of Human Services Youth-Led COVID-19 Recovery Grants administered by the Local Government Association of SA.
