Tech @ the Library is back!
We can help you solve your IT issues. Help is available any time we are open, by asking staff at the loans desk (drop in service), or if we can't solve it in a short time, we can book you in for a 30 minute one on one help session.
If your IT issue is device specific, bring your device along with any chargers and passwords. There is free Wi-Fi at the library with your library membership.
We will help you learn to solve IT issues
Booked help sessions are held every Friday, apart from the last Friday of the month at 10am, 10:30am, 11:30am and 12 noon. Sessions are held for 30 minutes.
Please advise us of your questions or issues when placing your booking.
We can help with:
Government apps: for example myGov, mySA GOV, and Medicare
Email: creating an account, attaching files, sending emails to multiple people, using folders to sort emails and more.
Photos and storage: transferring photos from your phone to a USB, cloud storage of photos, basic photo editing like cropping or adding text, printing photos and more.
Social media: basics of social media use, creating accounts or address your questions about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more.
Phones and tablets: basics of using Mobiles and Tablets, downloading apps, connecting to the internet, making calls or text messaging, downloading system updates and more.
