Responsible Tourism Research Survey
Tourism is important to our community not just for employment and the business it generates but also social vibrancy, infrastructure development and the introduction and retention of services.
We’ve had community conversations about the opportunities and challenges of tourism during development of Council’s Strategic Plan 2020-2024, its Economic Development Strategy and during the Sustainable Tourism: Community-driven Visitor Management forum.
This responsible tourism project continues to move these conversations into action. We need your help to identify the visitor behaviours that will preserve our region for future generations of residents, visitors, and travellers.
As such, Tourism Australia and Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism are conducting a research project on the impact of tourism on the local environment, community, and culture.
The feedback will help us to tailor communications for travellers to educate and encourage responsible and respectful travel. Now more than ever, it is critical to have a proactive approach for how the tourism sector, its partners, and stakeholders face the future positively and sustainably.
To assist us, please complete this survey, which will take less than 10 minutes. We value your opinion.
