Sustainable Living Expo

Sunday 9 September 2018, 10am to 4pm
Yankalilla Showgrounds

A free, family-friendly event offering practical workshops, guest speakers and market stalls to help people connect with the environment, embrace sustainable living and find out more about smart solutions.

The Sustainable Living Expo, coordinated by Council in partnership with the Normanville Natural Resource Centre, brings together businesses, not-for-profit organisations and community groups to help you make simple changes to the way you live.

There will be loads of stalls, presentations and activities for ideas and inspiration on all things sustainable.

Drop in to a free workshop and learn new skills:

  • learn how to make your own bees wax wraps
  • reduce water use and watering frequency with a wicking bed
  • create your own habitat hotel to attract native bees and insects to your garden

Watch your children play and their imaginations soar in the Mobile Junkyard and Nature Playground.

Meet local environmental groups and find out more about their activities and how you can get involved.

Good food, good living and great ideas on the Fleurieu Coast.
