The 2018 Bungala Bridge Fun Run has been postponed due to extreme heat forecast on 27 January. All entries will automatically be carried over to the new date.
Take part however you choose - run, jog or walk your way around the 5km course. Random prize giveaways, a kids race and an idyllic location makes this a fun day for the family and seasoned runners alike!
Traffic restrictions will apply 7:45am to 9:45am
Register online by Monday 15 January to receive a free personalised Bungala Bridge Fun Run bib!

The Wirrina Bluegrass and Acoustic Roots Festival is an annual gathering for people to hear, play and share acoustic music from the Bluegrass, Old Timey and other related traditions.
It’s on again—for the 7th year! Our fabulous festival will again be hosted at the Wirrina Cove Holiday Park, just 80 minutes South of Adelaide, South Australia, on the first weekend of September.
Bluegrass is great music. That’s why it heads up our festival. Our stage attracts world class musicians; many come back each year to perform, to run workshops, and to join in the fun and inspiration of all that a Wirrina festival is.

NORMANVILLE NEW YEARS EVE PAGEANT

Yankalilla District Community Cultural Arts Network
New Year's Eve 2017 will see the 20th Annual Normanville New Year's Eve Pageant. The pageant consists of a parade of approximately 40 colourful floats leaving Katherine Drive at 7.30pm sharp winding its way through the streets of Normanville ending at the beautiful Normanville foreshore.
Locals and tourists alike flock to the foreshore to be entertained by a DJ, amusements, and fed by the local community clubs and groups. The night's festivities are finalised with a fireworks display at around 9.45pm. The pageant provides a fun, safe family environment for the entire community plus the many visitors staying in the area.
You are invited to be part of the pageant, whether it be just as a visitor or as a participant contact TJ Marks on 0407 174 262 if you have any queries.
The Pageant is a non-profit community organisation run by a very small group of locals, with the District Council of Yankalilla and Yankalilla Foodland providing sponsorship and the remaining funds required to stage the event are raised throughout the year. Look out for the girls in pink collecting for next years Pageant, they will be roaming throughout the parade collecting much needed donations. if you want to help us out with fundraising toss in a few coins or whatever you can afford.
