Wirrina Bluegrass & Acoustic Roots Festival

16th to 18th November 2018

Wirrina Cove Holiday Park, Wirrina Cove

The Wirrina Bluegrass and Acoustic Roots Festival is an annual gathering for people to hear, play and share acoustic music from the Bluegrass, Old Timey and other related traditions.

It’s on again—for the 7th year!  Our fabulous festival will again be hosted at the Wirrina Cove Holiday Park, just 80 minutes South of Adelaide, South Australia, on the first weekend of September.

Bluegrass is great music. That’s why it heads up our festival. Our stage attracts world class musicians; many come back each year to perform, to run workshops, and to join in the fun and inspiration of all that a Wirrina festival is.

Locals and tourists alike flock to the foreshore to be entertained by a DJ, amusements, and fed by the local community clubs and groups. The night's festivities are finalised with a fireworks display at around 9.45pm.
